Wonderful opportunity for an experienced Tutor to support a 10th grade male student (a male is preferred for cultural reasons). You must be familiar with the American curriculum and confident teaching across a broad range of subjects including Science, Maths, English, Arts etc.
You will be a motivated, engaging Tutor, who enjoys building strong study habits and confidence, instil the ability to work independently and are passionate about helping students achieve their best possible grades. You’ll have a positive mindset, work in a fun way and have the ability to simplify the concepts for short and effective study sessions.
The other children have their own Tutor but their may be occasions when you might be asked to assist.
Candidate requirements
- Experienced Tutor or qualified teacher at secondary school level
- Good knowledge/experience with the American Curriculum
- Ability to Tutor most subjects
- Professional, flexible and discreet
- Able to tutor with a positive and fun approach that gets results
Excellent, checkable references, and up to date DBS.
- Start – ASAP, ideally by mid August if possible
- Salary – tax free, DOE, negotiable and commensurate with an experienced Tutor
- 45 days annual leave – with flights

- Accommodation – if single, a 2 bed apartment shared with another Tutor. If have spouse/family, a family apartment will be provided. Transport provided to/from work.
