JOB FILLED. Daily or Live-in Nanny. Active, Fun Family, Nr Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

Wonderful nanny job for a returning client. A delightful, fun, active and engaging family in a countryside location in the Cotswolds 10 minutes from Charlbury and not far from Chipping Norton, yet just 20 minutes from Oxford city centre, or around 1 hour by direct train to London.   There are lots of local child activities/classes and evening social life for you is very accessible. This family comes recommended by the previous nanny.

The family are open to either a live-in or live-out Nanny and you must be a driver (automatic car provided).  In this relaxed, dynamic, fun home, you will be caring for 3 children –  Boy 5 yrs, Girls 3 yrs and 1 year.  A new baby is expected early in 2023 and a Maternity Nurse has been hired for 3 months. The role is mainly sole charge, but there will be some shared charge, Mum runs her own business from home though is outside of the home for meetings etc. and both parents are hands-on with the children when work/time permits.   The oldest child attends a pre-prep school a 30 minute drive away near Morton in Marsh, Gloucestershire. and the 3 yr old attends nursery 1 full day and 2 half days per week currently.  The family are planning to move nearer to the school at some point next year.

An active, sporty and outdoorsy Nanny, organised, kind, fun, and experienced with multiple children. The children love being outside and the property has a pool and tennis court. All nursery duties including planning and preparing children’s meals and snacks, lots of play dates, indoor activities, assist with homework etc.  In the midst of all this fun and activity, good manners and behaviour must not forgotten. Firm but fair is the way to go.   Some proxy parenting, usually 2 nights at a time which is paid extra. Some UK & EU travel with the family and the family will be travelling to Italy in late August and would like the nanny to travel with them.

Candidate requirements:

• Career Nanny seeking a long term job
• Qualified Nanny preferred, but not essential
• Enjoys the countryside and outdoors, active, energetic, imaginative
• Not afraid to have fun and be silly with the children
• Confident driver, automatic car available
• Educational play and development
• Cheerful, upbeat personality, confident and relaxed.

• Hours:  5 day week Mon to Fri.  Mon/Thurs 8.30 – 6pm, Tues/Wed 7-7, Fri 7 – 4
• Salary £40-£50K DOE
• If live in accommodation is bedroom and own bath. A living room space can be arranged if wished.
