Wonderful sole charge role with a fun, informal, professional family.  Mum will be returning to work after maternity leave in March and they are seeking a great nanny with good baby experience to care for their baby girl who is currently 4 months old.

 

We are looking for kind, fun, energetic, caring and nurturing nannies who enjoy working with the little ones and have previous baby experience. You’ll be interested in child development, ensure milestones are met and enhance her physical, emotional and social development.  The family are looking for nannies who enjoy reading, singing and playing with babies, creative daily activities, introducing her to words, colours, numbers, etc and taking her to some of the local baby classes.  The baby is in a good day/night routine.

 

The family are first time parents, with a young, fun attitude to life. The home is a very happy one filled with love and laughter and they wish to ensure this continues with the addition of a nanny. Both parents have successful careers and adore their daughter. It is very unlikely you would need to work after your finish time, but if Mum needs to work late, Dad ensures he is home to take up the reins from you by your finish time.

 

The home has access to a private communal garden which has a playground and is within walking distance to the museums – V&A, Natural History etc., which often have events for babies and children.   The family have a second home with a garden in Lymington in the New Forest where they go for some long weekends and also for a week or two at a time.  You won’t be required to go for long weekends and can take that Friday as extra paid time off, but the family would like you to accompany them when they go for a week or two.  You’ll have your own bed and bath at this home, which also has a nursery and a play room.  It is very close to the local high street and in a lovely coastal area.

  • Salary £41,000 (£600 npw)
  • Sole charge when Mum returns to work in March.
  • Monday to Friday 8 am to 6pm. Occasional babysitting.
  • Driver a bonus, but absolutely not essential
  • Willing to travel on holiday with family if required – mostly Europe and Caribbean
  • Standard holiday 28 days including bank holidays
  • Guaranteed extra 10 paid days off per year (when family travel to Lymington for long weekends)
