Super summer tutoring jobs for a returning client.  3 Tutors required to accompany the family on their summer travels to London, South of France and potentially other short trips elsewhere in Europe.

 

Tutors – either excellent all-rounders, or could also be 1 x Spanish specialist, 1 x French specialist, and 1 x English language & literature specialist, or a mix of both. Languages must be native or very advanced level.  5 children aged between 6 and 14 yrs. Fully staffed properties including a Nanny team.

 

Responsiblities:

  • Concentrate on education, with focus on French,  Spanish, and English language & Literature, or specialist in 1 subject
  • Assist with homework and improving school work
  • Teach debating and associated skills
  • Organise creative activities and educational games to support learning in conjunction with the Nanny team
  • Arrange tutoring around the family’s schedule
  • Colloborate with parents to support childrens’ growth and development
  • Ensure safety at all times, with a high level or care and attention
  • Willing to run occasional errands.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be legal to work in both the UK and EU, and flexible to travel between locations
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in education/tutoring
  • Teaching credentials preferred
  • French and/or Spanish languages at native or high advanced level
  • English Tutor adept with English literature
  • Organised, positive attitude and forward thinking
  • Able to create child friendly environment and be fun to learn with
  • Must be team player and work alongside team of household staff to ensure smooth running of the childrens’ days.

 

Preference for London based candidates but can consider great candidates based elsewhere.  Accommodation vprovided during travel.

Candidates selected for initial interview with us will be required to supply proof of right to work in the UK and EU, an up to date DBS, excellent checkable references, and certificates for educational/study courses, qualifications etc.

  • Salary – Euros 3,500 – 4,000 net per month
  • Start 1st June through end of August or early September
  • 6 day week, with a degree of flexibility as needed regarding daily hours.
